Do you remember Kid 'N' Play? I am sure that many remember Kid's 'high top fade,' and many of us had them. How did this hairstyle go over with Yahuah? As you look at the image of Kid, notice: he has no beard. How does that go over with Yahuah? The Father gave a command in U-yaqra/Leviticus 19:27 that Yashar'al should neither mar the corners of your beard, nor round the corners of your head. You cannot mar the corners of your beard if your beard does not exist. Or was Yahuah trying to share something else with His people? How do you round the corners of your head? Does this mean we are not to take straps and wrap them around our heads, until our heads become round?
In Hebrew, the word for mar is 'shachath' - H# 7843. Shachath means to lose, destroy, decay, or cut off. When Yahuah said do not round the corners of your head, nor mar the corners of your beard; was He actually trying to tell us that we must keep beards? What about a goatee? Must those of the covenant keep beards, and if so, how should they look?
Another interesting fact in regards to the command not to round the corners of your head, is the word for round - the Hebrew term naqaph (H# 5362). Naqaph means to circulate, to make round, to go in circles....How do you round the corners of your head, and what does any of this have to do with Turah? You will be amazed.
